Abstract

One of the advances in information technology is the WEB or World Wide Web which can be accessed using the internet. An expert system is a knowledge-based computer program from an expert that is inputted into a computer so that the computer can solve problems, as is usually done by an expert. Like an expert, an expert system focuses on a particular or specific dominant problem. The service of the assessment process and the process of flowing rehabilition still does not utilize technology to provide convenience in the form of recommendations to determine a the process of flowing rehabilition for rehabilitation so that it slows down the process of handling clients. Considering that the rehabilitation center only has 6 assessment experts (assessors) and the number of clients is more than 800 and increasing every year, this expert system was created to assist the work of counselors/assessors. Rehabilitation follow-up plan is the most important stage in the assessment process and has a strong influence on client safety, selecting the right follow-up plan can help clients recover from drug effects. This expert system uses the C4.5 algorithm to determine the level of prediction accuracy in determining the client's rehabilitation follow-up plan. The C4.5 algorithm has advantages in processing data that has missing attribute values, producing rules that are easy to interpret and the fastest among other algorithms. The C4.5 algorithm is also one of the algorithms used to perform predictive classification and grouping. The branches of the decision tree are a matter of classification and the leaves represent their classes or segments. The way this algorithm works is by recursively visiting each decision node, choosing the optimal split until no more possible divisions are found. To get the optimal division, this algorithm uses the concept of information gain or entropy reduction.
