Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) until now remains a public health problem in the world. According to WHO globally in 2018 an estimated 10 million people died with Tuberculosis (TB). equivalent to 132 cases per 100,000 population. The purpose of this study was to find out how to evaluate the TB control program at the Medan Johor Health Center. This research method uses qualitative research that is phenomenological in nature. Data obtained from the results of interviews conducted on 5 informants. The research location was carried out at the Medan Johor Health Center, Medan City in December 2022. The results of the study found that in the input component: the policy from the public health center had gone well but there were still many people who did not wish to have themselves checked further at the public health center even though they had been declared positive for TB, and many sufferers also decide to take medication irregularly as a result of which treatment is hampered, the process component: routine annual treatment planning is carried out well, but related to internal challenges of cross-program coordination each does not yet support TB much hoping for assistance for example from the public health and health promotion program so that the program can be implemented properly. Output component: the total CNR calculations for 2019, 2020, 2021 have reached a good target and for the number of TB treatment successes in 2019 to 2020 it has decreased and for 2021 it has experienced an increase in success and it is stated that it has reached the target of successful treatment in 2021
