Abstract

Entrepreneurship Ethics is the science of how an entrepreneur behaves in his business. Many entrepreneurs ignore the importance of ethics in building a business, because they think about the abilities they have and the huge amount of capital that a business can easily set up. However, without the ethics of an entrepreneur, the business will not run according to plan. Because ethics is a study of right and wrong and the moral choices a person makes. Ethical decisions are things that are true regarding standards of behavior. Entrepreneurial ethics covers the relationship between the company and the people who invest in the company, with consumers, employees, creditors, competitors and so on. Entrepreneurs are expected to act ethically in their various activities in society. Maintaining ethics is very important to protect the company’s reputation. This ethical problem is always faced by managers in their daily entrepreneurial activities, but must always be maintained continuously, because a reputation as an ethical company is not formed in a short time, but will be formed in the long term. This research aims to determine entrepreneurial ethics. Where ethics in entrepreneurship is a behavior that an entrepreneur must have. Because ethics is very important and in entrepreneurship you must have characteristics such as honesty, responsibility, keeping promises, good behavior with buyers and fairness in servicing buying and selling transactions. Islamic entrepreneurial ethics also emphasizes the application of the rules regulated by the Islamic religion in carrying out buying and selling transactions. Business ethics is very important in building and expanding the company’s progress for the better, because unethical business behavior can reduce the company’s credibility and result in the collapse of reputation or trust both externally and internally.
