Abstract

Research has been carried out aiming (i) to produce a system for calculating and summing prices on print-outs automatically. (ii) to determine the optimal distance of the tool to be able to count paper. (iii) to find out the RGB color frequency data logger system, total paper and total price in real time. The tool is designed to be able to calculate the type of print automatically, using the TCS3200 type color sensor as a determinant of the type of print with a 20x4 LCD display. The system uses RTC DS1302 digital clock module, SD Card Module. The method applied in this research is the counter method. This study uses international color size data as a reference for the frequency value for the color sensor reading process. The price calculator on the print-out with the TCS3200 color sensor and data logger storage system has been successfully designed and successfully displayed. The results of the use of the TCS3200 color sensor and the RGB color frequency calculation system that can determine the type of color or colorless print, and count the number of sheets of paper that are read while adding up the prices with an accuracy of up to 93.4%. The optimal distance of the color sensor on the printer machine is at a distance of 5 cm. the data logger system uses the PLX-DAQ (Parallax Data Acqusitions) microcontroller add-ons so that it can make it easier to control the tool while it is working which is automatically inputted which is converted in the form of a Ms. Excel data manager.
