Abstract

Teacher professional competence is an important factor in determining student learning achievement. Good or bad student learning outcomes are determined by many factors, including teacher creativity. This study aims to determine the relationship between students' perceptions of teacher teaching creativity and learning motivation with student achievement in SMP IT Al-Ikhwan Tanjung Morawa. This type of research is quantitative research. The research respondents were 30 students studying at Al-Ikhwan IT Middle School. Data collection techniques using questionnaire instruments and tests through PTS (Mid Semester Assessment). In this study there are three variables, namely learning achievement (Y), students perceptions of teacher creativity (X1), and motivation to learn (X2). Validity testing uses Pearson Product Moment correlation, while instrument reliability is tested and calculated using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Score on students' perceptions of teacher teaching creativity and learning motivation were obtained based on questionnaires distributed to samples or respondents, while student achievement data was obtained through the Value Collection List (DKN). The results of hypothesis testing indicate that there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions of teacher teaching creativity and learning motivation with Islamic Islamic Education learning achievement at SMP IT Al-Ikhwan Tanjung Morawa. This is indicated by the correlation value of r_count> r_table (0.740 > 0.361 and t_count > t_table (5.825> 1.701).
