Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the prediction of bankruptcy using the Altman Z-Score method in six food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020 in the perception of maqashid sharia. This research is motivated by the existence of financial difficulties experienced by the food and beverage sector which is considered to be a sharia economic opportunity that can be developed. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, and uses secondary data by accessing the www.idx.co.id site. The results of the analysis show that there is only one company that is indicated to be bankrupt, namely PT Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (PSDN) with an average Z-Score of 0.50156.
