Abstract

Management is the management of an organization in the process of directing and mobilizing human resources to achieve certain goals effectively and efficiently. Therefore, the application of management needs to be implemented in an organization that can improve the ability and quality of human resources to develop in a world in the era of globalization. The research method used is qualitative by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation as well as data analysis techniques with steps, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. In general, this study aims to determine the implementation of the management of extracurricular activities of the Youth Red Cross (PMR) MAN 3 Langkat, especially at the stages of the planning, implementation, evaluation, supporting and inhibiting factors. The findings in this study can be seen that the planning process has not been carried out effectively, then the implementation process is carried out properly, then the evaluation stage has not been carried out properly and the supporting factors that can encourage PMR members in improving and developing PMR extracurriculars and inhibiting factors that can completed properly so as to improve the quality and creativity of human resources in solving problems.
