Abstract

This research was conducted at the IT Nurul Hadina Junior High School with the aim of knowing: 1). To find of the principal in making pilicies to improve HR capabilities at IT Nurul Hadina Junior High School, 2). To find out the role of school principals disini making decisions to improve HR capabilities at IT Nurul Hadina Junior High School, 3). To find out the role of the principal in supervising thee ability of HR at IT Nurul Hadina Junior High School, and 4). To find out the role of the principal as a role model in improving the ability of IT Nurul Hadina Junior High School. Thus, the existences of very high quality human resources is very important for the progress of a good school. Schools with good and adequate infrastructure and have complete facilities without being supported by the ability of the principal’s role as a leader in educational institutions who are obliged to provide guidance to existing human resources such as educators and teaching staff, in order to have quality abilities. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative, with data collection using observation, interviews and document studies. After the data is analyzed, conclusions are then drawn by thinking deductively. With several indicators that the principal has implemented such as, (1) Making a policy with a policy where teachers must teach according to the linear, (2) Decision making is seen from every problem or obstacle that exists, the principal always make joint decisions but also sees and makes decicions good decisions, (3) supervise by visiting class to class, and (4) As a role model that can be seen from the result of teacher interviews who can use the principal as a good example. However, there are also indicators that have not been sufficiently met for school principals. As in awarding teachers and providing special consultation. Thus it can be conclude that IT Nurul Hadina Junior High School seeks to increase the role of the principal althought there are still some things that researchers feel need to be improved, especially in terms of giving award and conducting class visits.
