MENGEMBANGKAN POLA CRITICALTHINKING DALAM MENGAJAR KETERAMPILAN INFORMASI
Abstract
The more information a person can obtain, the more important it becomes to judge how to use it. Obtaining information on the Internet is easy, but too much is expected of the Internet and other such electronic resources. Today, students of all ages and traditions are faced with a college career in which basic computer skills are an essential beginning to research; in an increasingly electronic world, libraries are at the forefront of offering such elementary research tools as the library catalog on computer instead of cards. This does not mean that librarians play role as spoon-feeding information to their customers; but rather "the guide on the side," as we teach our customers to be independently able to find information on their own ways as well as examine the information before it is really used.
