Abstract
Internalization of Islamic Religious Education values in scouting activities in shaping the character of students in Peunaron East Aceh Middle School 2. Supervisor Dr. Asnil Aidah Ritonga, M.Ag. and Prof. Dr. Wahyudin Nur Nasution, M.Ag. Issues that will be examined in this study. namely: (1) What are the values of Islamic Education in Scouting activities at Peunaron East Aceh Middle School 2? (2) What is the strategy of internalizing the values of Islamic Education in scouting activities in Peunaron East Aceh Middle School 2? (3) How is the implementation of Islamic Education internalization in scouting activities towards the character of students in Peunaron East Aceh Middle School 2? This research is motivated by problems related to moral degradation that still often occurs everywhere. Various efforts from the government have been made to address this problem, one of them is by promoting character education. Existing problems were answered through qualitative research with data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively by the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis model with data collection schemes, data reduction, data display and conclusions. The results showed that there was a relationship between the values of scouting in the darma darma with the values of Islamic Religious Education. The strategy of internalizing Islamic Religious Education values in scouting activities has an important role in realizing the character of students. The research on the internalization strategy in SMP Negeri 2 Peunaron, East Aceh showed that it was maxillary, but the implementation of the internalization strategy was not maximal. Thus, it is necessary to reform the darma of self-development for parents of students so that they can be a good role model for their children.
