Abstract

Research on Design of Stepper Motor and Servo Drive Systems has been carried out in 2D Wireless Engraving Machines which aims: (i) To produce stepper motor and servo drive systems on 2D wireless engraving machines, (ii) To find out the output characteristics of stepper motor systems on 2D engraving machine wirelessly based on ATMega32 and (iii) To know the comparison of 2D engraving engraving results in time variations of 200s, 400s, 600s, 800s, and 1000s. In this study using a microcontroller that is ATMega32 as a controller with 2D engraving machine. produce a 2-dimensional image area that is a circle, box, triangle that has been determined on a Personal Computer (PC) with input files to be translated into a microcontroller. The stepper motor and servo drive system on the 2D engraving machine wirelessly has been successfully designed and successfully displayed. The results of the data in accordance with the design in the software in accordance with what is generated by the tool. The characteristics of this tool has two characteristics: the first can work automatically and is ordered after a command from a PC (personal computer). The characteristics of these two devices are also equipped with a liaison between the PC (personal computer) and the tool so as to facilitate sending data. Comparison of printouts with machine movements in the process of drawing characters with time variations of 200s, 400s, and 600s the printout of the characters is quite slow, so it is not appropriate and the speed of the image printing process. At 800s time variation in accordance with the design of the desired image and almost close to the perfect word, while 1000s time variation is very fast so the process of drawing the results is not neat, far from perfect.
