Abstract

This research is based on the uniqueness found in Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah orphanage in Binjai city. The uniqueness is that foster children grow and develop without a parent figure, but they can grow into children who have good morals. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the concept / planning, implementation, and the results of fostering moral education in foster children in Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah orphanage in Binjai city. The purpose of this study is to describe the concept / planning, implementation, and the results of fostering moral education in foster children at Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah orphanage in Binjai city. This research type is qualitative research that is research procedure that produce descriptive data either in the form of written or oral words obtained from research subject. Sources of data in this study are the caregivers, carers, foster children and the community around the orphanage. Technique of collecting data in this research is by observation, interview and documentation. The technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data in this study is by triangulation. Then the technique of data analysis in this research is by data reduction, data presentation, and verification conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the orphanage Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Binjai city already has the concept / planning of moral education development that is through activity programs and regulations. The implementation of the program activities is started from the morning prayers in congregation, schools in madrasah Al-Washliyah Binjai city, tahfiz alquran in the afternoon, learning to speak and sports on holidays. While the rules apply since foster children enter in the orphanage. The result of fostering moral education in foster children in Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah orphanage in Binjai city can be seen in the akhlak foster children who have long lived in the orphanage. Those who are more senior in general have been able to good morality as has been able to istiqamah in obedience worship, polite, patient and sincere, discipline, simple, independent, have sense ukhuwah Islamiyah, and mujahadah in life.
